María Estévez was born in Madrid and studied at the Complutense University of the Spanish capital. She is a globetrotting journalist specializing in film. She started working at Tiempo magazine and from there she went to London. She later lived in New York and now she resides in Los Angeles where she works as a correspondent for ABC and La Sexta. María is the author of three books published by Roca Editorial.

What I love most about TV and film criticism is delving into the politics behind works and what they reveal about our world. Media can take anything (real or imagined) as its subject matter so covering TV and film lets me explore our world in all of its complex, hilarious, and maddening beauty.
Oie!! I’m Jana Nascimento Nagase aka Jana On Camera and I’m a Brazilian entertainment journalist, Film & TV critic based in Los Angeles, and I LOVE indie movies. I’m originally from São Paulo (Brazil) and I’ve been living here in the US since 2001. I write for Gazeta News, the biggest Brazilian newspaper in the US based in Florida, since 2012.
I am a Los Angeles-based journalist who is originally from Brazil, my main market. I have written on a variety of topics, from hard news to politics, but my passion is covering entertainment and the film industry. I currently work for several different outlets, and I also host a weekly show called Hollywood News (SBT TV), where we discuss the latest movies and TV shows.

I am the founder of a support group called Heart Broken Anonymous for people experiencing heart break or overwhelming distress. I started HBA after I left producing for ABC’s The Bachelor franchise. What I love most about my work (whatever it is) is making people feel seen.
I’m a Salvadorian-American television and film critic, podcast producer, and host based in New York City, working professionally as a critic for 7 years. I’ve loved all forms of entertainment since I was a kid and grew up acting, singing, and going to the movies nearly every weekend. With a degree in Theater Arts and a background in acting, interviewing actors and filmmakers is my favorite part of the job because I love talking shop with other artists and getting more into the weeds about an actor’s process, character development, career challenges, and filmmaking overall.
I’ve always loved cinema and started writing about it right before my 19th birthday. I turned a pro film critic, or whatever that means, February 2010, self publishing ever since. I love turning feelings into words, placing myself at a particular time and space alongside a movie, and, mostly, I love to connect with others and teach then to love cinema as much as I do.
Movies have been present most of my life. My dad always took me to see great movies in Puerto Rico’s most iconic movie theatre back in the 1980’s. That led me to work in Puerto Rico’s biggest movie chain for a couple of years, learning mostly everything about the film industry and how to deliver a great film experience to customers.
