About me, my market, and what I love most about my work:

I’ve always loved cinema and started writing about it right before my 19th birthday. I turned a pro film critic, or whatever that means, February 2010, self publishing ever since. I love turning feelings into words, placing myself at a particular time and space alongside a movie, and, mostly, I love to connect with others and teach then to love cinema as much as I do.

This is my passion project, or passion in general:

My passion project would offer a window to the world through cinema, helping people to look at other’s across the world, throughout history, with kindness and empathy. Sounds like a dream in a polarizing world, with tabloid criticism and journalism, but we’re allowed to dream, right?

What it means to me to be part of the CCA:

It means being part of something bigger than me, in which I can invest my time, myself, so that more and more people learn the real meaning of criticism, learn about its language, its history and its capabilities and discover new ways to enhance one’s love towards cinema.

My favorite film/TV series that I am currently watching and why:

I rewatched Nope for a class, and I’m currently watching The Bear, Only Murders in the Building and Cangaço Novo, a Brazilian series.

My social media and where you can find my work:
