Submissions now open for the 29th Annual Critics Choice Awards TV Categories

(Los Angeles, CA – September 25, 2023) – The Critics Choice Association (CCA) announced today that submissions are open now for the 29th annual Critics Choice Awards TV categories and will remain open through Monday, November 13, 2023. Submission guidelines can be found HERE. TV nominations for the annual event will be announced on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, and film nominations will be announced on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. The awards show will return to the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles to reveal the winners on Sunday, January 14, 2024, airing live on The CW. 

29TH ANNUAL CRITICS CHOICE AWARDS TIMELINE: 

Monday, September 25, 2023 – Submissions open for CCA TV categories
Monday, November 13, 2023 – Submissions close for CCA TV categories
Tuesday, November 14, 2023 – Nominating Committees begin deliberation (TV)
Friday, December 1, 2023 – Nominating Committees render recommendations (TV)
Friday, December 1, 2023 – Nominating ballots go out to FILM Branch Members
Tuesday, December 5, 2023 – CCA TV nominations announced (9:00 AM PT)
Friday, December 8, 2023 – Deadline for returning nominating ballots (FILM)
Wednesday, December 13, 2023 – CCA FILM nominations announced (9:00 AM PT)
Friday, January 5, 2024 – Final ballots go out to both FILM and TV Branch Members
Friday, January 12, 2024 – Deadline for returning final ballots (FILM & TV)
Sunday, January 14, 2024 – 29th annual Critics Choice Awards

The Critics Choice Awards are bestowed annually to honor the finest in cinematic and television achievement. Historically, they are the most accurate predictor of Academy Award nominations. The 29th annual Critics Choice Awards show will be executive-produced by Bob Bain Productions and Berlin Entertainment. The Critics Choice Awards are represented by Dan Black at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.
