About me, my market, and what I love most about my work:
I have been a movie critic for the past five years, freelance writing for platforms that include Taji Mag, Watercooler HQ and Vice magazine.

Watching movies has always been one of my favorite past times growing up. My parents didn’t always have the money to purchase movie tickets for our family of five, but they could afford to rent a few movies from Blockbuster and other video rental stores. Each movie was an escape to another world, and experiences I felt were exciting. Which is the reason I became a movie critic.

Movies have the power to inspire, educate, and entertain, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my love of cinema with others.

This is my passion project, or passion in general:
Movies have always been a big part of my life and I love the way they can tell stories, convey emotions, and connect people from all walks of life. Whether I am watching a classic film or a modern blockbuster, I am always fascinated by the way movies can transport us to different worlds and make us feel things we might not otherwise experience.

What it means to me to be part of CCA:
I take my passion for film seriously and put much thought into my reviews, CCA allows me to engage with other members that feel the same way. It is refreshing to talk with other members about my favorite films and sometimes  be encouraged to look at films from a different perspective. Being a member has been a positive experience.

My Favorite Film/ TV series that I am currently watching and why:
I love films by Spike Lee and Wes Anderson because of their unique way of storytelling. Currently, my favorite series is Shrinking because it tells how therapy is important to help people deal with their flaws, even for the professionals to provide the treatment.
