About me, my market, and what I love most about my work.
I’m a film critic and entertainment journalist from Puerto Rico. For more than 20 years, I’ve been writing and talking about films and TV. I’ve covered entertainment in multiple TV shows, newspapers, radio shows and online media outlets. Since I was a kid, I’ve always been in love with films and TV. Also, growing up watching the likes of professional critics such as Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel without a doubt increased my passion through the years. And to be able to now get the chance to view films and TV and give my genuine 2 cents about them is definitely a dream come true. It’s something that I take seriously and respect highly.

This is my passion project, or passion in general.
Besides film and TV criticism, I’ve always been fascinated with interviews related to film, TV and music. And to be able, for some years now, to have the opportunity to interview the talent behind the amazing work, is something that I greatly cherish and respect. Having the opportunity to interview directors, producers, actors or crew from around the world, in person or virtually, has been wonderful. And even though at times I thought it was out of reach, it’s something I’ve always dreamed of doing. And now, I’m actually doing it – which is pretty cool.

What it means to me to be part of the CCA.
I’ve been a CCA member since 2018, and it’s been both a pleasure and an honor to be a part of this prestigious organization. It’s been incredible to meet new colleagues/members, form new relationships and collaborate with professionals who share the same passion as I do. I’ve been proud to be a member since day one.

My favorite film/TV series that I am currently watching and why.
Right now, my favorite film of the year so far is Air. When little, my brother and I would always fight in regards to what Air Jordans he had or I had – which one was better, etc. And now getting to see the whole Nike and Michael Jordan story on the big screen was amazing. Ben Affleck delivered a wonderful story, full of incredible performances, suspense, and heart. I’ve always been a big MJ and Chicago Bulls fan, and I also still play a lot of basketball, so this movie hit me in all of the feels.
