“THE TRAITORS” Leads Winners of the Seventh Annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards with Three Wins

“The Traitors” led the winners, taking home three awards. “The Traitors” captured wins for Best Competition Series and Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series, while Alan Cumming won for Best Show Host. “Love on the Spectrum” and “Dancing with the Stars” followed closely behind, earning two awards each. “Love on the Spectrum” won both categories for which it was nominated, Best Unstructured Series along with Best Relationship Show. “Dancing with the Stars” was recognized for Best Competition Series: Talent/Variety, and Stephen Nedoroscik was awarded Male Star of the Year.

Winners of Awards Honoring Nonfiction and Reality Content to be Announced on CriticsChoice.com on Thursday, May 29, 2025. “The Traitors” leads this year’s nominations, earning six nods overall. The show was recognized in the categories of Best Competition Series and Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series, while Alan Cumming is up for Best Show Host. Cumming also received a nod for Male Star of the Year as did Dylan Efron, with castmate Gabby Windey garnering a nomination for Female Star of the Year.

“THE TRAITORS” Led Winners of the Sixth Annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards with Four Awards

“The Traitors” led the winners, taking home four awards including Best Competition Series and Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series along with Best Show Host and Male Star of the Year for Alan Cumming. This year’s show also honored television host John Walsh with the Career Achievement Award, while television personality Tom Bergeron was the first recipient of the Sam Rubin Award. During the show, the Career Achievement Award was presented to Walsh by his son Callahan Walsh, while the Sam Rubin Award was presented to Bergeron by Alfonso Ribeiro. The Sam Rubin Award was created in honor of the great Sam Rubin, a renowned journalist and longtime member of CCA’s Board of Directors who passed away in May of this year.
