Primarily serving the Boston area, every other week, I appear on NBC-10/NECN, am a contributor on WGBH, and write for myself on SarahGVincentViews.com and with my friends at Boston Movie News and In Between Drafts. I love covering a broad range of movies so people can get exposed to movies that they had no idea that they would love, especially from underrepresented communities.
What it means to me to be part of CCA.
It is unbelievable. If someone asked me as a kid if I would be a film critic and a member of the CCA, I would have thought it was more likely to become an astronaut and go to space. CCA members are not only amazing for the work that they do, but for being real people.
My favorite film/TV series that I am currently watching and why.
While it is not my favorite, I recently finished watching 6 seasons of Downton Abbey & 3 movies to prepare for the premiere on 9/12, & now I have no idea what to do with my life because it was the perfect multitasking show. With Halloween coming up, it is safe to say that my fave will lean towards horror.
