I’m Mitchell Beaupre, the Head of Editorial at Letterboxd, a social app and website created to encourage film discoverability. What I love the most in my work is fostering excitement and fascination in film for our audience — anytime something we do gets a Letterboxd member to add a movie to their watchlist, that’s a win.
What it means to me to be part of CCA.
Being associated with people I’ve looked up to is such a validating and humbling experience. Particularly in a world where film criticism is at greater risk than ever, an organization that celebrates those who pursue it — is near and dear to my heart.
My favorite film/TV series that I am currently watching and why.
I’m completely obsessed with the new season Australian Survivor, which pits some of the most iconic players from that series against Survivor players from across the world. Australian Survivor is my favorite reality competition series bar none, and getting to see so many legends going up against each other is absolutely addictive.
