About me, my market, and what I love most about my work.
Based in Central Pennsylvania, I’ve been the film critic for The Aisle Seat website since 1995, and for the stations of Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation since 1996. On the latter, I’m known by the radio name of “Movie Mike.” My motto has always been that a film critic’s job is to help people find good movies, and to help good movies find people. That’s the best part of my job – when someone tells me they saw a film based on my recommendation and loved it as much as I did.

This is my passion project, or passion in general.
As a major fan of Chevy Chase, I spent twelve months watching and analyzing every movie he was ever in. The result was a book called My Year of Chevy. It’s available in paperback and Kindle editions at Amazon. Link – https://amzn.to/3Z422kn

What it means to me to be part of the CCA.
I’ve been a CCA member since 2014, and it’s one of the things that I’m most proud of. Being a part of this group has been a huge boost for my career. I also love being in the company of so many professionals whose love of, and commitment to, celebrating quality cinema matches my own.

My Favorite Film/TV series that I am currently watching and why.
I’m a horror buff, so I enjoy watching all the franchises from the ‘80s, since that was when I was a teenager falling in love with the genre. I recently wrapped up all the Chucky movies and am now working on the Hellraiser films.
