The Critics Choice 2nd annual Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema and Television is officially a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee for Outstanding Daytime Special. HereTV aired the special produced by Madelyn Hammond and Javier Infante of Hammond Infante Productions. Fellow Emmy nominees in the category include Living Proof, Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Unleashing Hope: The Power of Service Dogs for Children with Autism .
Held on June 6, 2025 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, and hosted by Sherry Cola (Joy Ride), the show featured great moments from Wanda Sykes accepting the Career Achievement Award along with icons such as Niecy Nash-Betts, Michael Urie, Gideon Glick, Tramell Tillman, and Megan Stalter. There was also a deeply heartfelt performance by Somebody Somewhere’s Bridget Everett and Tim Bagley. You can watch the show HERE.

The winners will be revealed at the Daytime Emmys on Friday, October 30, 2026 at the Hollywood Palladium.
