Jeffrey K. Howard started small, deep within the murky bowels of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas communications department. There, while pursuing dual degrees in Film and Communications, he began his career as a movie critic on The Movie Show, a half-hour Siskel and Ebert-type program. In 1997, the Las Vegas Sun retained him to serve as the paper’s first and only film critic in its 50-year history. He has also provided reviews and interviews for the Las Vegas Weekly and the city’s Fox, ABC, and NBC television affiliates. His current weekly TV show appears on KCLV-TV, and he makes weekly appearances on KKLZ and KXNT radio. Jeffrey has been a CCA member since 2001.
