Tomris Laffly is a freelance film writer and critic based in New York. She regularly contributes to Variety, RogerEbert.com, and The Playlist, with bylines in Filmmaker, Film Journal International, Vulture, Time Out New York, IndieWire, and The Wrap, among other outlets. She has a special interest in the awards season, costume design, and women in film, and covers various film festivals throughout the year, including New York, Sundance, and Telluride. Tomris has been a CCA member since 2021.
