Originally from the UK, Simon Thompson is a Los Angeles-based journalist, critic, and producer with experience across radio, TV, and the internet. He regularly covers film and TV for a plethora of prestigious outlets, including The Credits, Gold Derby, and The Hollywood Reporter. Simon has previously done the same for Reuters, E!, BBC, A.Frame, IGN, Forbes, Variety, The Playlist, IndieWire, JustWatch, and many others.
He regularly moderates panels and Q&As for major studios, guilds, and organizations including BAFTA, of which he is a voting member. Simon is also a voting member of the Television Academy. He continues to appear on international news networks, including BBC and Sky News, to commentate on major industry news and awards season.
