Sean Tajipour is the founder of Nerdtropolis, an online entertainment platform reaching millions with movie news, reviews, celebrity interviews, and trailers. He launched Nerdtropolis to make pop culture coverage more accessible and create a home for all fandoms. Through his work and passion for the community, he is affectionately known as the “Mayor of Nerdtropolis.” A lifelong movie lover, Sean began publishing reviews online at age 11, when tracking down the latest film or a classic meant walking to the local store to buy it on VHS. Today, he co-hosts The Moviegoers Society and hosts Reel Insights, where he has interviewed more than 400 actors, directors, and creators. He also moderates pop culture convention panels while serving as Vice President of the Houston Film Critics Society. His film and TV coverage appears in Tell-Tale TV, Eulalie Magazine, and ScreenSphere. He also appears on local television discussing film and pop culture. On Houston Public Media’s Hello Houston, he shares insights on movies, television, and the entertainment industry. Outside entertainment, Sean is the founding president of Texas’s largest automotive organization, West Houston Muscle (WHM), producing family-friendly classic and hot rod car shows across the state.
