Patrick Beatty was raised in Utah and Wyoming in an environment where movies felt less like entertainment and more like contraband. Naturally, he became obsessed with them. Patrick is the creator and host of See It or Skip It, which began as a broadcast film review segment he developed while working at ABC4 Utah and has since become an independent show that Patrick now produces and hosts himself. It brings together reviews, filmmaker and celebrity interviews, guest critics, festival coverage, and a growing community built around simply loving to talk about movies. Patrick is currently featured on KSL 5 TV in Salt Lake City, Utah, with his KSL Movie Minute with Patrick Beatty, alongside his independent work with See It or Skip It. The segment gives Patrick the opportunity to do what he enjoys most: making film criticism accessible, entertaining, and genuinely useful for audiences deciding what deserves their time. Patrick has been a CCA member since 2022.
