“Mr. Hollywood” Matt Demers is a film critic, entertainment commentator, and on-air personality. He serves as the resident film critic for CTV Your Morning Ottawa, CTV News Channel, and 580 CFRA’s Ottawa Now, while also appearing on CP24 Toronto and other television and radio programs to discuss film, television, and pop culture. Matt is also a Senior Content Editor and host at WatchMojo, one of the world’s leading entertainment media and digital publishing brands, where he leads the company’s celebrity coverage, overseeing editorial strategy and content focused on the entertainment industry’s biggest names. His work spans film criticism, celebrity journalism, event coverage, and interviews with actors, filmmakers, musicians, and television personalities. When analyzing the latest releases, Matt is committed to insightful, accessible criticism that not only informs audiences but celebrates the art of filmmaking. Matt has been a CCA member since 2018.
