Maggie Ma is a Hollywood-based film journalist and critic who has worked for domestic and international outlets. She was born in Beijing and graduated from USC with a Master’s degree in Global Communication. She’s fluent in Mandarin and English. She has covered the Oscars, Golden Globes, and SAG Awards since 2007. She has been on the MPA press directory since 2010. She is a big fan of SDCC, D23, and theme parks. She loves sci-fi, animation, and Marvel movies, but she’s also a fan of movies inspired by real events. Maggie has been a CCA member since 2021.
