Juan M. Fernández-Paris has always had a passion for movies. His first memory is being in a movie theater watching a rerelease of Bedknobs and Broomsticks. His passion turned professional after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism at the University of Puerto Rico and then an MFA in Film Production at Chapman University in Orange County, California. Juan started writing reviews professionally at El Nuevo Día in Puerto Rico in 2001. He now hosts and produces De Película, a one-hour movie show that features his reviews, lists, and interviews with the top of the film industry. The show airs nationally in the U.S. through WAPA America. Juan has been a CCA member since 2014.
