Jeff Nelson is a Los Angeles-based film critic who has been writing about cinema since 2009. He is the film critic for WeHo Times, where he brings an analytical lens to LGBTQ+ storytelling and beyond. Other bylines include DVD Talk, Showbiz Cheat Sheet, Screen Rant, and Guy at the Movies. In addition to his Critics Choice Association membership, he is also a member of GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics. He has a BA in Film & TV-Media Management and an MA in Sociology, both earned at California State University, Northridge.
