Starting his career as a music journalist, Barry Krutchik interviewed more than 2,000 recording artists and actors for various outlets, and he produced numerous video shoots (EPKs, PSAs, and “Behind the Scenes”) for MTV and other television outlets. He headed the talent relations division for Premiere Radio (now Premiere Networks/iHeart Media), where he was responsible for creating, launching, and overseeing a wide variety of programming and was tasked with participating in movie junkets for a fun decade. He directed Oscar winner Halle Berry in a Revlon-sponsored PSA, produced the celebratory party for Run DMC’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, spent a day at Neverland Ranch, and worked for Prince. He remembers when he was asked to join the Broadcast Film Critics Association and is thankful to be one of its founding members. Barry has been a CCA member since its inception in 1995.
