Alfredo Amy’s passion for movies began when he saw Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade with his dad. He worked in the biggest movie theater chain in Puerto Rico for many years while completing his BA at the University of Puerto Rico and his MA at the Interamerican University. He launched two movie outlets, CineFama News and Alfred Película, on Instagram and Facebook, where he published movie reviews and the latest movie news. He hosted weekly movie segments at La Nueva 94 (94.7 FM) – El Reguero (SBS Entertainment) and El Mega Reguero at La Mega 106.9 FM. He hosts a weekly TV segment at El Mediodía on channel 6 (WIPR) in Puerto Rico every Thursday at 1:30 PM, where he reports the latest movie news. He is also a Professor at Ana G. Méndez University in Puerto Rico. Alfredo has been a CCA member since 2023.
