April Bernard has been covering television – make that devouring television — for decades. She spent six years as the Executive Editor of TV Guide Magazine, and had an earlier stint at Us Weekly as Senior and then Deputy Editor, heading up TV coverage from reviews to cover stories, for 10-plus years. As a freelancer, her writing and editing have appeared in Emmy magazine, Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, and way too many print titles that no longer exist (Teen People, Marie Claire, Seventeen, Mademoiselle, Self, et al.). It’s a demanding beat…but April is still hoping to find time to rewatch the entirety of Sports Night and Moonlighting.
