AS ALWAYS, THERE WERE MANY GOOD DOCUMENTARIES PRODUCED THIS YEAR. I WAS SURPRISED MEGAN SMITH’S “BOOBS: THE WAR ON WOMEN’S BREASTS” NEVER MADE THE CUT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I am strictly shocked that “A Thousands Cuts” from Philippine and “Our Time Machine” from China are not included even one category. They both deserve to be included in best documentary feature.
Lots of good choices. Time really blew me away. Of course, Crip Camp, Laurel Canyon was like a perfect film for me but it just seemed to stop short. Congrats to one and all!
I must have changed my mind on several categories 100 times! Congratulations to these wonderful filmmakers on their extraordinary work. Thrilling, engrossing, dazzling, shocking and enlightening!

Sadly to see missing nominations from Asia works.

Am I confused about “MOST COMPELLING LIVING SUBJECTS OF A DOCUMENTARY (HONOR)”?
Do we get to vote it too?
