- Scott "Movie Man" Menzel was born in Englewood, NJ and has been a film fanatic since the age of three. Growing up, he watched as many movies as he could, but was highly influenced by the minds of Tim Burton, John Hughes, Robert Zemeckis, and Steven Spielberg. Scott has an Associates Degree in Marketing, a Bachelors in Mass Media Communications and a Masters in Electronic Media Management. Scott has been writing reviews under the alias of MovieManMenzel since 2003 and started his career as a contributing critic at IMDB.com and Joblo.com. In 2009, Scott launched his own site MovieManMenzel.com but a few years later decided to rename the website, We Live Film. In 2015, We Live Film became We Live Entertainment. The name change occurred after several months of debate but was done so that he and his fellow staff members could write about anything in the world of entertainment. In addition to We Live Entertainment, Scott is the founder of the Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society which he runs alongside Scott Mantz, Ashley Menzel, and Krisily Kennedy. Scott hosts a show for LAOFCS called “LAOFCS Weekly” where he is joined by members of the organization to highlight various new releases including independent films as well as any noteworthy industry news. Scott also co-hosts, Meet the Movie Press on the Popcorn Talk Network and Black Tomatoes on Black Hollywood Live with Carla Renata. You can find all of Scott’s written reviews and interviews by visiting WeLiveEntertainment.com.
