Winner of the 2014 ICG Publicists Guild Press Award honoring outstanding entertainment journalism, Scott “Movie” Mantz is the resident Film Critic and Film Segment Producer for “Access Hollywood.” In October 2000, Mantz joined the daily entertainment newsmagazine, which is currently in its 19th season. In addition to his production duties for “Access Hollywood,” Mantz has his own movie page at http://www.AccessHollywood.com/MovieMantz, where the show highlights his latest in-depth reviews, blogs and weekly on-camera box office reports. Mantz, who has been working in the film industry for over 19 years, can also be seen every weekend on “Access Hollywood´s” “MovieMantz Weekend Review.” In addition, he has also been a contributing correspondent to Reelz Channel’s “Hollywood Uncensored with Sam Rubin,” and recently, he was a guest correspondent on Bravo TV´s “30 Even Scarier Movie Moments” and its follow-up, “13 Scary Movie Moments.” In addition, he was interviewed for A&E’s popular “Biography” series for specials on Tom Cruise and Robert De Niro. Mantz also frequently contributes to Entertainment Insiders (einsiders.com), a website devoted to movie reviews, box office analysis and other special movie-related articles. Prior to joining “Access Hollywood,” Mantz was the Chief Financial Officer for an entertainment marketing company, Creation Entertainment (1991 to 2000). In 1998, Mantz co-hosted “Sci-Fi Entertainment” for the Sci-Fi Channel. He launched his own film review website (www.moviemantz.com) in the summer of 1999 and brought his popular persona to “Access Hollywood,” when he joined in 2000.
