BTJA Member Profile
- I have been a working journalist since 1978 splitting the first 10 years of my career between sports and entertainment at the Kentucky New Era in Hopkinsville (KY). I moved into full-time coverage of TV and films when I moved to the Alexandria Daily Town Talk in Alexandria (LA). I split my time between writing for the newspaper and working as the on-air film critic for the local TV station. That was followed by moves to the Bakersfield Californian and the Fresno Bee. While in Fresno, I was a guest on every local radio at TV station. I also ended up hosting my own weekly entertainment TV show. Two years ago, I started working for the Tribune Wire Service reporting on TV and film. I have been married 45 years and have one son who runs his own comic book store in Burbank.
