- Jill Simonian contributes to "Showbiz Tonight" on HLN, the syndicated movie program "Made In Hollywood" and occasionally appears across the pond on the UK's Daybreak & Lorraine morning shows. Jill was recently a Contributor to "Hollywood Dailies" on ReelzChannel. She also co-hosted "The Big Tease." Since 2006, Simonian has interviewed hundreds of film legends, A-listers and newcomers alike. Her bubbly personality reveals stars' lighter sides at premieres and events (including the Academy Awards®), but she also isn't afraid to get to the bottom of Hollywood business through insightful, one-on-one interviews with directors and actors from today's most popular movies. Her candid viewpoint and sometimes-blunt perspective offers what-to-see insight to movie fans across the country. As a cum laude graduate of UCLA's Communication Studies program, Jill jumped into working in television in 2005 with KTLA-TV's "The Audition," a month-long nationwide contest to find Southern California's next Weathercaster. She became the Viewer's Choice winner (garnering over 11,000 online votes from the public), which lead to stints as a Feature Reporter for KTLA's Morning Show the following year. Other notable past achievements include singing the National Anthem at LA Lakers and Dodgers games, winning a UCLA Carol Burnett Musical Theatre Award, and motivating high school students about the power of their own education through Monster.com's "Making it Count" program. She is also a former Miss Hollywood and Runner-up to Miss California (Miss America Pageant). Simonian resides in Los Angeles, has been a lifelong fan of movies, trailers and hot buttered popcorn, and stands by her pick for the #1 movie of all-time: "The Wizard of Oz."
