Having always wanted to be involved in movies since he was a wee lad, Jim Judy got into the reviewing business when he was working in TV and studying screenwriting. Seeing every film being released, he was repeatedly asked by parents if certain movies were okay for their kids. So he created “Screen It” in 1996 to provide them with detailed but non-judgmental information about the content in movies and videos. Since then, his reviews have gone from being part of AOL’s entertainment channel to being used by the Harvard School of Public Health and featured in countless newspapers, TV shows and radio programs, with Roger Ebert naming Screen It as one of the top 5 most useful movie sites on the Internet. All of which has resulted in hundreds of thousands of people around the world using Screen It every month as their source for informed movie reviews.
