- JD Cargill's path to success in the field of broadcast news began at KTLA where he advanced from intern to Senior Entertainment Producer. Next came his first regular on-air position reporting for London's "Rise TV" on Channel 4. After London, Cargill went to Fox 6 in San Diego, before landing at his current position at CNN where he's covered the film beat for nearly 10 years.
