- A past (and also the first-ever Canadian) president of the Television Critics Association, Eric Kohanik has been covering the TV world from a Canadian perspective for more than three decades, first as a TV critic for The Hamilton Spectator and, later, as the Editor of TV Times and also as a correspondent for the Southam / Hollinger / Canwest (now known as PostMedia) News Service in Canada. As a freelance writer and media consultant, Eric is now working on a variety of special projects, including an ongoing quest to improve his golf game. He has been writing for a variety of publications in Canada and the U.S., as well as his own website, TheWatcher.ca. In 2010, Eric expanded his media focus to include the film industry as well and has served as a Press Conference Moderator for the Toronto International Film Festival.
