- David Moss, also known as "The Mossman," is FOX 8's entertainment reporter. David first came to WJW in 1979 giving reports on Ohio travel, restaurant reviews, and lifestyle reports. He then went to WKYC to serve as their entertainment reporter. David also served as entertainment reporter for WEWS from 1984-94. In 1994, David came back to FOX 8 to serve as our entertainment reporter. Some of David's most memorable moments include standing in the middle of the Saharah Desert digging up mummies with Hugh Downs, marching down the streets of Chicago with Jerry Springer and exchanging insults with American Idol's Simon Cowell. David spends nearly forty weekends a year traveling to Hollywood and New York City to see movies and talk to the biggest stars in the world. A five-time Emmy Award winner, Moss is a 2004 inductee of The Radio/Television Broadcasters Hall of Fame of Ohio. A native of Cleveland, David attended Nordonia High School and the University of Akron. He enjoys cooking, gardening, and of course, watching movies! David and his wife Kimberly reside in Beachwood. They have two children, Adam and Ryan. In 2009, David's show "Hollywood & Dine" was picked up to air nationally on cable channels 'Reelz'and WGN America' and syndicated to several stations throughout the country.
