- Biography:
- Miksanek studied film at UCLA and at the University of Illinois in Chicago but finds the best classroom to be the movie theater. That is where he meshes his opinions with the audience's impressions incorporating an "entertainment" attribute to his overall assessment of a film. As the "Med City Movie Guy" (a nod to the town's crown jewel: the Mayo Clinic), he currently writes a weekly column for the Rochester, Minnesota Post-Bulletin. He can also be heard monthly on KROC radio and seen most Wednesdays on KTTC TV (the NBC affiliate) during the "Live at 5" segment.
